Patrick Moore, Somerset West
I have been following Norman McFarlane’s articles and activities for some time now, it gives me some claim or privilege (tongue-in-cheek intended)and last week’s colum (“Cyril’s tightrope”, Bolander, February 20) was another superb and succinctly composed article.
Thank you for your direct and sharp summaries, which I page to prior to reading the balance of Bolander.
Norman McFarlane replies:
Writing for a living is a lonely business, particularly when one attempts to make sense of our political minefield, and then along comes affirmation of this order. It makes it all worthwhile, because I know somebody out there is listening, and gets what I am saying.
Thank you sincerely for your kind words.
