The 1st Somerset West Scout Group is in some desperate need of help from the Community.
The Group has been around since 1908 and is one of the oldest Scouting Groups in the country. Our halls, the place where our children are taught about the environment, shown a sense of community and taught independence, are in dire need of repair. We are in desperate need of funds and we will be holding a Fun Day for the whole family at Southeys Vines on Saturday, 22 October from 9am – 2pm. There will be fun rides for the kids, s’mores to make , a treasure hunt with the Scouts and many more fun activities, eats and stands.
Please come to support the Cub and Scout Group of our area. If you would also like to have a stand at the fun day or would like to donate to either the Fun Day, the Group or to volunteer finances or services towards the hall’s repair, please contact me at 1stsomersetwestscouts@gmail.com
