Dirtopia Trail Centre presents a pre-election Night Run on the night of Tuesday May 28 and a MTB ride on the morning of Wednesday of May 29 at Muratie wine estate in Stellenbosch.
Tuesday’s night run will consist of a marked 10km and 6km route and the run will start at 6pm. Runners participating in the night run must note that headlamps are compulsory. There will be special event medals for the first pre-entries and Dirtopia medals for the rest.
On Wednesday morning MTB riders can ride with trail designer Meurant Botha at 8.30am. These popular Buffalor Rides are only R100 per rider and includes a beer, a Boerewors roll and guided social ride.
Participating riders must be able to ride singletrack and no novices or children are allowed, as it is a proper mountain bike ride which will stretch over more than 25km of trails from Muratie and the guides will show off some trails not normally open to public.
Entries can be made at www.dirtpass.co.za as limited amount of trail users will be allowed.
The Night Run on Tuesday are supported by Sportsmans Warehouse with vouchers to be won plus Muratie wine in the lucky draws. There will be special event medals to the first runners that enter and refreshment stations on route and at the finish line.
