Rolling Stones fans are in for a treat with an upcoming show to be performed The Drama Factory in Strand.
The Gimme Shelter Band, which consists of Jake Gunn, Ruben Gerryts, Lenny Miskin and Wouter Reyneke, will present the tribute show Gimme Shelter Unplugged : A Night of Rolling Stones Music.
The Rolling Stones are the world’s longest-running rock ’n roll band and arguably one of the most influential bands of all time. Four of Cape Town’s top musicians pay homage to The Rolling Stones and have been performing to sold out crowds all over the Western Cape.
Stones followers can expect to hear all their favourites, like Jumpin Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman and Wild Horses and even a few they’ve never heard before.
The show is on Thursday July 4, at 7.30pm at The Drama Factory located at 10 Comprop Squar, Henry Vos Close, Asla Business Park in Strand. Contact The Drama Factory to enquire about overnight accomodation partners and options in the area.
Tickets cost R200 for students and pensioners and R220 for standard tickets.
