Reddam House was approached by Dr Bryony May, who started the “Soap4Safety” and “Together Against Covid-19” initiatives. Dr May asked the school to assist with goody bags and a note of encouragement to support the staff at Nomzamo Day Hospital and iKwezi Clinic. “Many health care workers are exhausted and need a boost in morale,” said Dr May. Debbie Underwood, a teacher at Reddam House, got the staff and students on board, and together with the parents and friends committee, put together special hero bags which were delivered last week. These treats and handwritten notes were received with much gratitude by the staff at Nomzamo Day Hospital and iKwezi Clinic. Any other schools, individuals or companies who would like to be part of the “Home Baked for Heroes” campaign, should contact Dr May via the “Together Against Covid-19” Facebook page.
