Rangers give back

■ The Boland region of the SANParks Honorary Rangers recently presented the Helderberg Nature Reserve Environmental Education Centre with gifts for their kitchen, as a token of their appreciation for the use of these facilities for course presentations and meetings. The SANParks Honorary Rangers is a volunteer organisation in support of South Africa’s national parks. Their goal is to promote conservation in our national parks and provide community-based programmes to the communities bordering the parks. The Honorary Rangers Organisation have 27 regions, distributed country-wide.
