PV at World Choir Games

■ Parel Vallei High School in Somerset West sent five pupils to the World Choir Games in Tshwane recently, the first time the event has taken place in Africa. The choir in which they performed, was awarded first place in the children’s mixed choir section and Music Sacra with accompaniment, and third place in the pop choirs and folklore sections.
