Pushing up daisies

This photograph of the flowers on the corner of Abelia and Pyracantha streets, Heldervue, was sent by Bolander reader Jessame Malan, who said: “Please, please, don’t mow the daisies. Thank you to City Parks for leaving the flowers to develop and give us this wonderful sight – a great reward for delaying the mowing schedule. It is a short season until the seeds have set, and then it will be time to mow. Until then we have this natural splendour to enjoy.”
