* Holding a banner aloft, Kenesias Dambakirima of Strand, was among protestors who participated the Global March for Lions recently.
On Saturday April 3, protestors gathered at the Company Gradens before peacefuly walking along Addeley Street waving flags, banners and signs, united against the cruel practice of canned lion hunting and the plight of the African lion.
The South African Government was called on to ban the practice and fiercely start protecting the African lion.
The organisations involved in supporting this march are Campaign Against Canned Hunting, Global White Lion Protection Trust, Beauty without Cruelty and Four Paws.
