A photography workshop where participants will learn to take time-exposure photographs to record star trails will be presented at the Afrikaanse Taalmonument in Paarl, on Saturday February 2, from 6pm to 10.30pm.
This practical workshop by professional photographer and registered tour guide, the Cape Photographic Company’s Peter Haarhoff, is suitable for beginner and intermediate photographers.
A single lens reflex (SLR) camera (digital or 35mm), tripod
and cable shutter release are essential.
Participants will learn easy and proven ways to get good star trail photographs every time, including the best settings for photographing the Milky Way and how to use the bulb setting on your camera.
The workshop costs R750 which includes notes.
