Strand Beach was one of the many popular surfing sites where peaceful demonstrations were held last week, throughout the country – by surfers, paddlers and fishermen – who believe that the Level 4 exercise allowances should reasonably be extended to their brand of sport and recreation in the ocean. Surfers and fishermen congregated in protest last Tuesday against restrictions.Â
