Norman McFarlane speaks

The Paarl Rotary Club has donated eight Eduboxes containing educational aids to Charleston Hill Primary to mark the school's recent centenary celebration. President Eugene Reynders, Grade R teacher Norma May and school principal Vincent Parrott.

The U3A money matters group meets on Monday June 24, at 10am, in room 45, Urban Voice, corner of Sir Lowry’s Pass and Schapenberg roads, Somerset West. The guest speaker is Bolander correspondent and political analyst, Norman McFarlane, who will speak on the topic “After the elections: the age of uncertainty”. Members should wear their membership cards and are expected to contribute R10. Entry for non-members is R20. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available from 9.30am. For more information,
