No water restrictionsfor sugarbirds … yet

■ Johan Schultz of Somerset West sent us this photo of a sugarbird, which he took in the Helderberg Nature Reserve early on a Sunday morning, when he and his wife hiked the Watsonia route. “We spent almost an hour spell-bound by sugarbirds, bathing in the little stream flowing across the trail. How we wished we could join in. Fortunately there is still water in the mountain for them to enjoy. Let’s hope it stays this way,” says Johan.
