Temperance Town Primary School formally opened the toy library addition to its library for preschool toddlers and their mothers, on Friday April 8.
This space accommodates the needs of children, and specifically toddlers, to sit and play with their mothers or caregivers with a collection of suitable educational toys, with guidance provided by the librarian and volunteers.
The facility, sponsored among others by Gordon’s Bay Lions, was formally opened by the school principal, Ms Windvogel, who said this facility will play a crucial role in shaping the future development of pre-school children, and towards building a successful school known for its outstanding pupils and community members.
The event was the first opportunity during which mothers and their toddlers could attend a play session, all of whom clearly enjoyed the experience.
The play sessions will take place every Friday, at 11am, and all Temperance Town mothers and toddlers are wellcome to participate.
