New executive head for Somerset College

■ At the end of this term, Meg Fargher, the current executive head of Somerset College, will be leaving, and the board of governors has appointed Graham Sayer, pictured, to succeed her. Mr Sayer has worked at the college for the past 11 years as the academic director, grade head, head of department​ and English teacher. Mr Sayer attended Beaumont Primary School and Pinelands High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree and Higher Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Town. Mr Sayer is married to Roxanne and they have two children.
