Nederburg Wines hosts its annual harvest festival at dusk on Saturday February 16, from 4pm for 4.30pm until late. Festival goers can participate in the fun of picking and stomping grapes, learn from the experts about how the wine grape harvest is progressing, and kick back and relax while feasting on freshly-prepared fare matched with Nederburg wines, while listening to South African musician, Mathew Gold. Chef Lisa Cilliers of The Red Table restaurant, situated in Nederburg’s manor house, will be serving up a harvest feast of family-style table platters of mezze to whet the appetite; farm-fresh salads and vegetables to accompany slow-roasted meat; as well as ‘korrelkonfyt’ and peach upside down cake served with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Â
