■ The Spier Artisan Studio recently opened on the Spier Wine Estate outside Stellenbosch. It features artisans quietly at work, using hand-cut mosaic or beads to create, with meticulous precision, interpretations of works by South African fine artists. The Bolander (formerly the Helderberg Sun) was established in 1996 and renamed Bolander in 2007. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Somerset Mall and Waterstone Mall within its distribution area.
