Three friends from Parel Vallei High School shared another milestone in their lives together by graduating from Stellenbosch University last week. Ben Nel, Alistair Galloway, and Philipp Frohman, above, matriculated from Parel Vallei in Somerset West in 2012.
Ben and Philipp received their engineering degrees in electrical and mechatronic engineering respectively, while Alistair received his BSc degree in conservation ecolog,y cum laude.
Alistair’s thesis was close to home, as he did a study on the Helderberg Nature Reserve, where he often went to hike with his friends.
More than 5 300 Matie students received their degrees and diplomas from Stellenbosch University last week.
