There will be a Lebanese food and wine pairing with chef Ghenwa Steingaszner, on Wednesday November 23, at Lourensford Wine Estate. Ghenwa is passionate about presenting authentic Lebanese, Levantine and North African cuisine. Born and raised in Lebanon, she spent 17 years working for Saudi Arabian Airlines where, among other responsibilities, she trained and supervised airline staff working in galleys and providing high-quality onboard culinary services. Now based in Somerset West, she pursues her culinary passion through Ghenwa’s Lebanese Cooking Club, giving cooking workshops, hosting food and wine pairings and catering for special events. Tickets are available on Webtickets. This event is a fundraiser for Senecio, an NPO that provides therapy and other support to children with physical disabilities in the Western Cape.
