A visit to Lourensford Estate for an ice-cream cone after picking up godchild Zoey Olivier at Beaumont Primary School and friend Talitha Zunckel, who attends Somerset House Primary School, was the perfect outing on a hot afternoon last week.
Meandering around the estate, we visited the Wunderkind children’s play area, the art gallery and outside installations, and cooled off our feet in the fountain, after rolling down the grassy embankments with gay abandon.
Summer is here, and there’s no better place to be than barefoot in the great outdoors, getting fresh air and sunlight, and larking about a bit.
