■ The collaboration between The Imibala Trust and the Gail Hattingh School of Ballet continues to be an enriching experience and the current 31 young pupils, who look forward to their weekly class, dance with all their hearts. In 2016, 16 Grade 1 pupils from Marvin Park became the first children on the programme. In that year they received their leotards and ski pants. Now, after almost a year, these Grade 2 pupils have received their first pair of ballet shoes, fitted and made to size for each young dancer. These dancers, above, will be part of the Gail Hattingh School of Ballet show, A Night at the Oscars at the Playhouse Theatre in Somerset West towards the end of the year.
