HSFA Busamed Golf Day 2023 a sterling success

This year’s Helderberg Society for the Aged (HSFA) Busamed Golf Day was held at the Strand golf course on Friday November 10.

According to the HSFA, this event was not just a fantastic day outdoors, but also a triumph for fundraising that significantly impacted the lives of the elderly under the care of HSFA.

“With all sponsored holes filled and 120 enthusiastic golfers enjoying the event, the day proved to be a remarkable success.

“This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the HSFA staff leading up to the event as well as on the day ensuring its seamless execution – making this HSFA Fundraiser a resounding accomplishment,” the non-profit organisation said in a statement.

The HSFA extended their gratitude to the generous sponsors of the HSFA Golf Day 2023: Title Sponsor:Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital; Dinner Sponsor: Timbuild Group; and Corporate sponsors Adviceworx, Geratec, Nashua Winelands and Immploy Recruitment Agency.

A full complement of 4-ball teams competed on the golf course, all aiming for the prizes given out at the end of the day. The HSFA expresses profound gratitude to the community and numerous companies and individual for their unwavering support through donations, auction items, prizes and participation in the golf teams.

The HSFA announced plans for another golf day next year on Friday October 11, 2024, to continue the tradition of success and support.

The HSFA is a non-profit organisation, which has been caring for the older person in the Helderberg basin since 1958.
