Friends of Radloff Park (FORP) committee member Lesley Dowden was at the park on Mother’s Day, welcoming the weekend visitors with a tongue-in-cheek gift… a Tuffy poop bag with a FORP membership leaflet, tied up with a pink bow. Here she is with Moira Southwood, left, who has been a FORP supporter since inception, and a regular visitor to the park for 40 years. Moira says: “I wish to thank all those kind people walking in Radloff Park last Thursday, who helped me search for my young dog. She panicked and ran away. It was dusk, and so many people helped search. Eventually a young girl brought her back – she had found her in the street near the park, wandering alone. I wish I had her name!”
