■ Artist Nina Ruch-Claussen will be showing her work at the historic barn at Vredenburg Manor House, Winery Road, Somerset West, from Saturday December 1 to Friday December 6, from 11am to 6pm. Nina works in oil on canvas. Her detailed paintings draw you into a naïve fantasy world of peace, love and happiness. She finds visually and emotionally appealing themes in her everyday life, inspired by ordinary things and creating little stories that add a sparkle to the mundane in life.
