Go-getters

Somerset College Grade 12 accounting pupils recently participated in the Banango Traders Task, hosted by the Johannesburg School of Finance. Both Reddam Green Point and Curro Sitari accounting students also participated in completing the Banango Trades Task as one of their portfolio assignments. The event was hosted by Somerset College, with pupils congregating in the St Matthews Chapel. Geared with their masks, sanitisers, and practicing social distancing, pupils applied the knowledge gained about companies during the academic year, to complete different company-related assignments. Working together in teams, students had to problem solve, do financial analysis, and be creative in strategic thinking to complete the set tasks.
