■ Moya Smith, a Grade 12 pupil from Rhenish High School in Stellenbosch, won a competition at school, and her prize was a R500 Woolworths voucher, which she decided to donate to Helderberg Hospice in Somerset West, in appreciation of the wonderful work they do within the Helderberg community. Moya is pictured with Gail Sykes, the chief executive officer at Helderberg Hospice.
The Bolander (formerly the Helderberg Sun) was established in 1996 and renamed Bolander in 2007. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Somerset Mall and Waterstone Mall within its distribution area.
