Get valuable career information at SU Open Day

Visitors at the Stellenbosch Universitys 2017 open day watch a science experiment demonstration.

The Stellenbosch University (SU) Open Day, which will take place on Saturday February 24, from 8.30am to 4pm, at the Stellenbosch and Tygerberg campuses, is the ideal opportunity for Grade 11 and 12 pupils to gain valuable information on studying at higher education institutions.

Visitors can obtain information on career choices, financial assistance, student fees, residence placement, accommodation and student life, while the student affairs division
in Bosman Street will provide information on housing on the Stellenbosch Campus as well as the various opportunities available to students making use of private accommodation.

Pupils interested in high performance sport can also interact with
the Maties Sport student athletes and sport managers on the Rooiplein.

Visitors are encouraged to start at the welcoming tent in front of the Conservatorium in Victoria Street.

The questionnaire identifies appropriate fields of interest and links these to a variety of careers and study opportunities.

Prospective students can visit, to find programmes they qualify for based
on their Grade 11 or 12 subjects
and marks, which will give an indication of who to talk to at the Open Day.

SU also offers career guidance to Grade 11 and 12 pupils.
