Prompted by your editorial and aided by perfect weather conditions my wife and I greatly looked forward on Sunday to the prospect of enjoying the most beautiful gardens of Somerset West.
Alas this was no to be as the map handed out to show the locations was printed in such small type as to be virtually impossible to decipher.
After visiting four of the 16 gardens listed, we reluctantly decided to call it a day.
The only consolation to this unfortunate experience was that the admission fee went to a worthy cause.
