Garden day

Somerset West Villlage Garden is holding a garden day, on Saturday October 19, from 10.30am to 1pm. Visitors can enjoy G&Ts, bubbles and food tastings, talks by garden professionals, a cooking demonstration by a celebrated chef, and goody bags, while supporting the development and ongoing success of this local community garden. Create and wear your own flower crown – you could win a R500 Benbel gift voucher. The Somerset West Village Garden is a registered NPO that offers employment to the unemployed and homeless, in exchange for tokens which they can exchange for food, clothing, toiletries, ID’s and assistance.
