“What a beautiful sight we saw when we went to Paardevlei dam at the Strand over the weekend. Literally hundreds of flamingos, with a small Springbuck that came through the fence and grazed around the dam. The yellow and purple little flowers gave such a feeling of paradise to the place. We are so blessed to live here and enjoy creation,” says Ronelle van Loggerenberg of Somerset West.
