The 2018 Fedhealth XTERRA season opens on Friday February 23, with a weekend XTERRA Warriors events at Eikenhof Dam at the Grabouw Country Club.
The Friday event starts at 4pm, and offers opportunities for three age groups: six to eight years old, 60m swims 2km MTB, 600m trail run; nine to 11 years old, 100m swim, 3km MTB, 1.5km trail run; and 12 to 15 years old, 250m swim, 5km MTB, 2.5km trail run.
Entry costs R80.
On Saturday February 24, the XTERRA trail run – 6km or 12km – takes place, followed by the XTERRA Full – a1.5km swim, 25.6km MTB, 12.6km trail run, and on Sunday February 25, the weekend wraps up with the XTERRA Lite – 400m swim, 14km MTB, and a 6.5km trail run.
