The karate club, Boland Dragons, from the style Shorin-ryu Shorinkan, took part last weekend at the Shorin-ryu Shorinkan national tournament in Port Elizabeth.
A team of 16 students went to Port Elizabeth on Thursday June 29 for the event, and represent schools in Paarl and Wellington.
The level of athletes/karateka’s was very high, and students of Boland Dragons returned home with a medal count of 12 golds, seven silvers and three bronzes.
