The Helderberg Bowling Club has an exciting new offering to community members in the form of an open invitation to join the club’s members in a game of lawn bowls.
As part of effortst to become community oriented the club’s Helderberg Hawks now offer Foodtruck Thursday where a selection of 3 Foodtrucks will offer a variety of eats. The trucks will be situated behind Helderberg Bowling Club at the Tennis courts, where patrons would be welcome to join club members for a drink with the meal.
The other exciting new addition is the club’s offering to all residents to come and enjoy an introductions to bowls from 4pm on Fridays. Those interested in taking up the club’s offer need not worry about any equipment, as all of that will be provided including a session with a dedicated bowls coach.
A five minute session will get you bowling immediately where you can play against other new comers and enjoy the game of bowls.
After playing bowls residents are welccome to join in on drinks with members at the clubhouse.
Parking is at 180 Main Rd Somerset West parking opposite the Somerset West Police Station at Southeys Vines entrance.
