Colours for water skiing

 Nicholas Stegmann, a Grade 10 student at Somerset College, was awarded his South African colours for water skiing in 2016 and received his green blazer this year after the South African championships. He is currently the South African and all-Africa champion. He holds the under-14 and under-17 slalom records for South Africa. The under-17 record stood for 19 years prior to him breaking it. Nicholas is currently ranked 6th in Europe and 10th in the world in his age group. He trains in Elgin and competes locally and overseas.
