Popular artists Coenie de Villiers, HemelBesem and YOMA are to perform as part of the Garden Theatre Picnic Series at the Afrikaanse Taalmonument in Paarl, on Friday January 6, at 7.30pm. The picnic series is held in aid of the “Let us read!” project for children.
Coenie de Villiers, pictured, is one of South Africa’s most popular song writers, artists and television presenters. The Afrikaans hip-hop artist, HemelBesem is also known as a radio and television presenter, will be there, and rapper YOMA (pronounced “jou ma”). The gates open at 5pm.
