The Tygerberg Children’s Choir invites audiences to experience the warmth and joy of the holiday season with their annual Christmas concerts.
Known for their angelic voices and captivating performances, the Choir is set to deliver an enchanting selection of Christmas carols and festive favourites that promise to lift spirits and ignite holiday cheer.
Join in on the musical festivities as the talented young singers of the Tygerberg Children’s Choir bring the true spirit of Christmas to life with a program featuring timeless carols, contemporary classics, and delightful surprises.
Under the direction of conductor Karina Erasmus and accompanists Madri Gerber and Elizca Mulder, this year’s concert is set to be an event that will resonate with all ages.
The Tygerberg Children’s Choir currently consists of 94 members. This annual Christmas concert series has been a highlight of the holiday season for years, bringing families together to share in the joy of music.
Ms Erasmus says: “Christmas is a time for joy and reflection, and our annual concert series is a way for us to share these moments with our community. We are excited to present a program that celebrates both the spirit of the season and the exceptional talent of our young performers.”
Concert highlights include classic holiday carols, vibrant new arrangements with unique interpretations of traditional carols performed in the Choir’s inspiring style.
Concert dates are on Saturday November 30, and Sunday December 1, at 4pm at the Endler Hall, Stellenbosch.
