Parel Vallei High School’s under-18A boys’ and girls’ hockey teams played in the Fairmont hockey tournament in Durbanville recently, and the two teams did exceptionally well, claiming the co-ed trophy for the best co-ed school.
The boys did well and ended seventh overall out of 24 sides, but it was the girls who played outstanding hockey by winning the tournament.
