Michelle Nel, with her retired black Labrador guide dog, Donna, received her Master’s degree in music cum laude, on Thursday April 4 at Stellenbosch University. Donna, who was with Michelle for eight years, accompanied her on stage during the ceremony, while Donna’s replacement, Luna, also a black Labrador, sat in the audience.
The Bolander (formerly the Helderberg Sun) was established in 1996 and renamed Bolander in 2007. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Somerset Mall and Waterstone Mall within its distribution area.
