Anthony Simpson, Gordon’s Bay
I walk on Gordon’s Bay’s beautiful beaches most days and I am always in awe of how well it is cleaned (“Beach cleaning quandry”, Bolander letters, June 13).
I look in the blue bags and see only the flotsam and jetsam of the last tide and what people selfishly leave behind them.
The amount of plastic is really frightening and should be our number one concern.
So, well done to the team who collects our rubbish in the blue bags. I for one am very grateful you are there. every day.
