The Bouckaert-Soenen Paarl cycle tour, organised by the Rotary club of Paarl under the auspices of the Pedal Power Association (PPA), will take place on Sunday February 3. The start will be at 6am, at De Poort heritage centre in Pine Street.
Paarl residents, and especially those who live in Southern Paarl near De Poort, are requested to refrain from using Main Street to exit town towards the N1. To avoid delays and congestion, use alternative routes such as Cecilia Street at Paarl Mall and Jan van Riebeeck Drive.
The organisers apologise for any inconvenience and possible disturbances between 5.30am and 2pm, and want to thank Paarl residents for their patience and support during this major fundraising event for community development projects in the Drakenstein Valley.
