A fun evening was had by all, at the launch of Artsy Fartsy Doodle in Somerset West, where a group of women got together to experience some of what’s on offer by the creative team of co-owners Carmen Ackerman and Mo de Villiers. Carmen says the focus is all about expressing yourself creatively in a colourful, relaxed, fun environment, ranging from themed kiddies art parties, end-of-year functions, hen’s parties, art classes, ladies’ nights, team buildings, etc.
“No judgement and no previous artist experience are needed. All classes are instructor led and designed in such a way that you will leave with a canvas to be proud of,” she told Bolander. “Our mission is to create fun memories from events through self expression and paint, without technology.”
Artsy Fartsy Doodle is also very actively involved in the community, and endeavour to “paint it forward” by hosting fundraisers, and offering art lessons to the boys from ACVV Bright Lights.
