Arts Association Stellenbosch exhibition

■ The annual art exhibition of the Arts Association Stellenbosch members took place during the first two weeks of March at the PJ Olivier Art Centre in Stellenbosch. The next exhibition will take place in September. The exhibition included paintings, photographs, sculpture and ceramics. The theme was “What are we looking at?”. This allowed for free interpretation by artists and also presented a challenge to viewers to consider the way they look at art. The opening speaker, land artist Strijdom van der Merwe, also spoke about different ways of seeing.
