A centenarian at the eye clinic

The Somerset West St John Eye Clinic is part of the Order of St John that has operations countrywide. It promotes health and wellness through its eye care facilities in the Western Cape and offers affordable eye care for people from all walks of life, but specifically the marginalised. The clinic has qualified optometrists and can have spectacles made in 10 days from an eye test. Recently, the Somerset West St John Eye Clinic tested the eyesight of 101-year-old Vera Potter, a pensioner and a resident of Somerset West, who has been a client of the clinic since 2002.
