Edgar and Judy Hutchings got married 50 years ago in Stellenbosh.
They lived there until seven years ago, when they moved to the Helderberg Manor Retirement Village in Somerset West. Unfortunately due to lockdown regulations, they will celebrate on their own, but are the recipients of warm congratulations and good wishes for safe and healthy years ahead by all who know and love them. Edgar is an ex-chairman of both Stellenbosch Round Table and the Association of Retired Pensioners and Persons (ARP&P). The couple were both on Rhenish School‘s PTA, and Judy started the primary school’s tuckshop, and laid out and planted its garden. They share an interest in wine, and were founder members of the Stellenbosch Wine Circle, and judged the Bottle Wine Show a number of times.
