Wine and venison

La Motte presents an evening of vintage wine and venison , on Thursday August 18, at 6.30pm. Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant will present a five-course menu paired with exclusive older vintages from the La Motte Vinoteque. Chef de Cuisine Michelle Theron will introduce her menu with its innovative interpretation of venison, while cellarmaster Edmund Terblanche will give insights into the maturation of wine as well as the specific pairings of the evening. Acclaimed author C Johan Bakkes will join the evening with an entertaining talk based on his most recent publication, Openbaring, sharing tales on his journeys to the coldest and warmest places on earth still inhabited by man.
