Comedian and actor Schalk Bezuidenhout, also known as “Jersey Boy”, returns to the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival stage for two weeks only, from Monday June 5 to Saturday June 17.
Born and bred in Kempton Park, Schalk studied drama at the University of Cape Town. While studying, Schalk slowly began to realise that “there was so much more to life than boerewors and rugby”, and started doing stand-up comedy in April 2011.
To see Schalk in action in his trademark “truitjies”, book your ticket for the Funny Festival at Webtickets. Evening performances at 8pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4pm; no under-16s.
The festival offers generous discounts for group bookings. For more details, visit www.funnyfestival.co.za or call 082 450 3151.
