Pieter-Dirk Uys will be performing in his new show called Sell-by Date on Wednesday April 5 and Thursday April 6, at the Playhouse Theatre, at 8pm.
Being active in live theatre since the late 1960s, he is not surprised when people now ask: “When will you retire?” His answer is short and sweet: “Not retire; retread!”
Sell-by Date will show Mr Uys at his 77-year-old best, bringing laughter to various states of disaster. As always his political scriptwriters are not letting him down.
Tickets cost from R150 to R170 each through Computicket. The Playhouse Theatre is located on the corners of Swalle Street and Lourensford Road, Somerset West.
