Picnic at Taalmonument

■ Amira Willighagen and Jill Levenberg will lead a number of musical groups in interpretations of well-known and lesser-known Christmas songs on Saturday December 15, at 6pm, in the Amphitheatre at the Afrikaanse Taalmonument. The other musical groups include Probell Woodwind Brass, Ida’s Valley’s Young Souls, Heathfield OAC Band, Eersterivier Silverstreams, Ambassadors, Makupula High, Flave Five and Sinc4. Tickets cost R100 for adults and R50 for children from 6 to 14 years of age, and are available from Computicket. Entry is free for children under six. Food, cold drinks and drinks will be on sale.
