EVENT:
Helderberg Village Music Society is presenting a concert by José Dias (piano) and Annelize de Villiers (clarinet), on Sunday February 18, at 4pm, at Talani Terrace.
José is a regular presence in all major concert halls and music festivals in South Africa. Recently international performances have taken him to, amongst others, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium.
Annelize de Villiers studied with renowned Swiss clarinettist Frédéric Rapin, obtaining her Master of Arts degree in Music Performance.
Annelize also took further courses in bass and historical clarinet. She has performed in Switzerland and France, has won several awards and is now a member of the CPO, is teaching and also lecturing at UCT.
They will be performing music by JS Bach, Saint-Saëns, Widor, Poulenc and Debussy.
