Paarl Jam, a two-day outdoor music festival, takes place during the Premier Interschools Rugby competition, on Friday August 2 and Saturday August 3, on the banks of the Paarl River. The line-up of main acts includes Night Sky Zombies, Noblemen, BRYNN, The Kiffness, Prime Circle, Francois van Coke and Springbok Nude Girls. Gates open at 10am each day. Food and beverages will be on sale, and festival-goers can watch the rugby on big screens. A children’s entertainment programme will run all day. A free park-and-ride service will operate and there will be a drop-off and pick-up point for e-hailing services. Ticket prices vary depending on the options chosen. Paarl Jam is a cashless festival, so festival-goers will need to buy credit before purchasing any food or drinks. Credit can be purchased with tickets online or at the event.
